Project: Wayne Richards Park MTB Trail Rebuild, Port Macquarie NSW

Clients: Port Macquarie Hastings Council and

Port Macquarie MTB & Pump Track INC

Scope of works: Dirt Logic were commissioned to rebuild the MTB track over a 3 month period from June to September 2023. Extensive shaping methods were employed to build multiple jumps to cater for all levels with "A" & "B line" options. Multiple banked corners (berms) were machine shaped to maximise speed. Water drainage methods were installed at key points of the track to improve water management.

The track has now been transformed into a modern urban bike park offering a fun, rewarding riding experience for all levels of riders. Many residents and tourists now enjoy the facility along with the asphalt pump track. The feedback is overwhelmingly positive with many people commenting that this is now the "benchmark" for urban MTB parks in Australia.
